POLYWOOL SECTIONAL PIPE INSULATION (SPI) is manufactured from rigid glass mineral wool pre-moulded into one-piece cylindrical sections. These sections are slit along one wall to allow the insulation to be opened and installed. The combination of these materials creates an easily installed, compression resistant pipe insulation with high thermal efficiency, exceptional sound absorption properties and an increased operating temperature limit. The sectional pipe insulation is available in 1 metre lengths and with a variety of wall thickness to suit standard steel pipes and copper tube from12.7mm to 355mm O.D.
DENSITY, SIZE & FACING:
Standard Density 80kg/m³
Sizes available from 12.7mm to 355mm
Available thickness(mm):20,25,30,32,38,40,50,60,65,70,75
Facings either plain or sisalation foil options
SUITABILITY FOR STAINLESS STEEL
POLYWOOL SECTIONAL PIPE INSULATION (SPI) Will not cause or accelerate corrosion of steel, stainless steel, copper or aluminum due to its specifically inorganic and mineral composition. Tested in accordance with ASTMC665.
FIRE PERFORMANCE
Tested in accordance with:
B.S. 476: Part 6 Fire propagation
B.S. 476: Part 7 Surface spread of flame
AS1530.3 EARLY FIRE HAZARD PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS
POLYWOOL SECTIONAL PIPE INSULATION (SPI) exhibits the following characteristics when tested in accordance with AS1530 Part 3.
Ignitability Index 0
Spread of Flame Index 0
Heat Evolved Index 0
Smoke Developed Index 0-1

Flexicell NBR Nitrile rubber is a flexible closed cell thermal insulation material for condensation control in air-conditioning, refrigeration and chilled water installations. It is also suitable for reducing thermal losses in heating and plumbing systems. The combination of its technical properties - a low thermal conductivity and a high resistance to water vapor transmission - and its competitive price makes it a cost - effective energy-saving solution.
FIRE PERFORMANCE
Flexicell NBR has been tested to ISO 5660 and achieved a Group 2 classification under Section C3 of the NZBC. It does not melt, nor drip when burning, therefore does not cause fire transfer.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Flexicell NBR is CFC & HCFC free, fibre free, dust-free and resistant to mould and fungi growth. It has very low ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and GWP (Global Warming Potential)

Flexicell XLPE is a closed cell cross linked polyethylene foam with excellent properties in terms of condensation control, long term thermal block and sound absorption. The polyethylene tubes have thicknesses and the diameters, which match most of the usual pipe sizes and come coated with foil. The Flexicell XLPE tubes have a very good dimensional stability, showing a 'memory effect' (they tend to come to their original shape after being compressed).
FIRE PERFORMANCE
Flexicell XLPE has been fully tested to ISO 9705 (full scale room fire test) and achieved a Group 2S classification under section 3 of the NZBC.
ENVIRONMENTALY FRIENDLY
Flexicell is a CFC and HCFC free product. It does not contain, nor use in its production and substances that contribute to Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP). Flexicell is fibre free and has a very low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission level'. ..
